How much does a consultation cost?
Depending on insurance benefits, a consultation will usually be at no cost to the patient. In the event you are not covered by insurance, we will work with you to determine the cost of all necessary procedures and a way to make the consultation fit into your budget.
Do you take Insurance?
We do accept most insurance plans that operate as a PPO plan. Discounts are offered for our military families and senior citizens as well. We are also in the process of implementing an in office benefit program for patients who aren't covered by dental insurance. We will provide you with a treatment plan estimating your cost and any insurance benefits for dental care that you may need. Our practice requests payment at the conclusion of each visit. For patients with insurance, the estimated co-payment is requested at this time. As a courtesy, we will be pleased to submit insurance claims on our patient’s behalf. Please note that any remaining balance, after insurance payment or denial, is the patient’s responsibility to pay. We are happy to offer financing through Care Credit to help patients budget for any treatment needs.
Where is the office located?
Our office is located at 12501 Judson Rd, Suite 101 in San Antonio, TX 78233. We are just behind NE Methodist Hospital in a two story building with ample parking available underneath the front of the building, behind the building and off to the side of the building. We are just inside of Loop 1604 off of I-35 near the Forum shopping center.
Do I need to be referred by a doctor?
No, you do not need a referral to be seen by Dr. Schlepp. If we determine you need to be seen by a dental specialist, Dr. Schlepp will provide a referral for you at no cost.
Will I be able to ask questions about my treatment before anything is done?
Of course! We will make sure you have all the information and explanations necessary to work with the doctor to come up with the best treatment options for you and your family members. No treatment will ever be started without your permission and complete understanding of all options and fees involved.
